A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Marcus Loadholt

Hello! I’m Marcus Loadholt, a weight and athletic coach based in Reno, Nevada. My journey began on the basketball courts of my hometown, where I discovered my passion for the game at an early age. Every day, I committed myself to improvement—whether through practice on the court or training in the weight room.

I attended Spanish Springs High School, where I had the honor of competing at the varsity level. I left my mark as one of the all-time leading scorers, earned the title of 2x Basketball Player of the Year, and contributed to two league championships for our program. My love for basketball led me to Dominican University of California, where I continued my athletic career at the NCAA DII level.

Over time, my passion for basketball evolved into a deep interest in fitness—both in terms of exercise and nutrition, as well as the knowledge that underpins it all. I earned my certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), specializing in weight management, strength training, and athletic coaching.

Although my playing days are behind me, I remain deeply involved in the sport. I currently coach the Junior Varsity program at Spanish Springs High School and conduct skill development workouts for aspiring basketball players.

Through my experiences in fitness, I’ve learned invaluable lessons—and I’ve made my share of mistakes along the way. My goal is to share these insights with you, helping you navigate your own journey toward fitness and wellness. I’m here to support you in overcoming obstacles and achieving your goals.
